Where is the house located?

The Cottage lies in the north-west of Thasos Island at "Dassilion Prinos" (meaning: the woods of Prinos) nearby its own harbour Skala Prinos. The area of Prinos is set near the sea, next to olive groves.

The Cottage is a 15 minute walk from Skala Prinos which has a direct ferry boat connection to Kavala, the Blue City of the North Aegean. The bigger harbour of Thassos, Port Limenas, has a direct ferry boat connection to Keramoti on the mainland. For detailed time-tables and connections click here.

The Little Cottage by the Sea is well-positioned both next to the sea and not far away from the main road of the island making it an ideal base from which to explore the island's attractions, including the Apostolus Waterfalls, the monastery of Archangel Michael, the Marble (or Saliara) Beach and the natural lagoon Giola.
